Was it hard to make your mini game?

No because I did it already this is the third time it was easier because I knew what to do already.

What was the best part of this topic?

The best part for me was knowing that I already did it and that we go to put background and kinda mess with the knew CS5. I like the new CS5 because we get to have a decoration tool and i like the way that it looks.

The worst part?

I would say when we had to make all the instance names and put in the code. It wasn't hard its just so trying and I kinda of wish that it would just pop up like that. Put if you don't put the instance names than the computer doesn't know what your talking about and it doesn't response to the code so I guess it is beneficial to making the games in flash.

How old were you on September 11, 2001

I was three years old about to be four in October.

When did you first learn about the attacks and who explained the events to you?

Well I was on my way to daycare and I was in the car and we were listening to the radio then next thing you know we here a radio report saying say inside the north twin tower of the world trait center is down everyone go inside then my mom turned around and speed back home. I asked her what was going on and she said that some bad people crashed into two big buildings and into the military head quarters and one went into a field but it was suppose to be going in the white house. Then I asked her why would they want to do that and she said because they hate Americans then I asked her why they hate Americans and she said that you'll find out when your older.

What kind of impact did these attacks have on your life or your parents life?

It effected me and my family allot because were military and we had to go on base for the next week we could not leave base. It was hard because we had no contact with the outside world. I think the part that made us me the most worried was the pentagon because we are military and that is like the main thing. But most of all I lost my cousin to this act of hate.

What was the issue with this game?

Well first of all why would you make a game from a tragedy. Your suppose to take this stuff seriously and their making a game like space invaders that sicking me.

How do you feel about it?

I would never play that game because its not showing the truth about the game. You cant shoot down a huge airplane its not a little fly or bird.

What is the problem with portraying on such a awful violent even through a video game?

Well first of all their making people feel like its no big deal through the game and that you don't need to feel like you need to remember it and its not a big deal. Then you have how would the victims feel? Their families and friends would they like it? I think this game is very messed up and I would not ever play it.

How can you make sure that your web games tell the whole story or teach a lesson in an honorable way?

Well first of all I wouldn't make a simple little game about a big deal because I think that's messed up.

'Danger of a Single Story'

What does it mean to have a 'single story' about a place or community?

To have only one idea about a place or race or just like a person that looks a certain way.

Describe a single story you have heard told about your community. What is missing from that story? How could people learn more about that community?

The single story I have herd about my community is that every body on the east side is dumb.But that's not true because I go to a school full of smart people from the east side.

Describe a single story you have heard about another community. How did you learn that story? How could you find out more about that community?

Well when I was little I spent allot of time with my grandma.She had a single story about North Austin (i.e Ceder Park, Leander,e.x),that they all were white rich snobby people that looked at people from East Austin like they were dirt. Then one time me and my mom went up there to do something and they didn't act like that the people up their were brown like me it wasn't at all what my grandma told me. I had a single story about them and i wasn't true at all.

How could a game let players experience many stories about a place or community?

Maybe if we made like options for people to go to the slums or to the high class of India and show different life styles so people don't get a single story.

-Tell an adult do not respond to them forward the email and block user/ make as spam

-Insecure, to make you feel bad,jealousy,or that they wish they were you.

Cyberbully is about a girl named Taylor , a teenage girl who falls victim to online bullying, and the cost it takes on her as well as her friends and family. Taylor is a seventeen-year-old student dealing with her parents' recent divorce and painfully aware of her lower social status in high school. When her mom gives her a computer for her birthday, Taylor is excited by the prospect of going online to meet new friends without her mom being all up in her private life. Taylor soon signs up on a website called Clickster.However, Taylor soon finds herself the victim of betrayal and bullying while getting on clickster. Obsessed with the damaging posts, she begins to withdraw from her family and friends, including her life-long best friend, Samantha Caldone.Tormented and afraid to face her peers at school, Taylor is pushed to an extreme breaking point, almost commiting suicide. It is only after this life-changing event that Taylor learns that she is not alone – meeting other teens, including a classmate, who have had similar experiences. Taylor's mom, Kris, reels from the incident and takes on the school system and state legislation to help prevent others from going through the same harrowing ordeal as her daughter went throught. I dident have te chance to watch the rest of the film but right now its a good flim I want to see the rest.

What is it about?
Well it was based on the BP oil spill and I started doing more reassure on it and found out their was more oil spill that i didn't even know about. So I thought it was important enough to do a game on it.

I have all of them done. Their are is an loading page,main,instructions,a "pick your weapon",fire level,scoop level, anti-bacteria level, results for all the levels, and credits.
What parts of your team page are completed?
All of it is completed.
How much more work do you need to complete?
Nothing.
What can you do from now until Friday to get everything finished and turned in?
I've got everything done.
What grade would you give yourself in Globaloria overall?
Maybe a 95 or 98 because I did so much work and I think I deserve it.
What are all of the things you have learned this year?
Well a lot more than last year of course. This year we learned how to program and we actually made a game.
What are you proud of in Globaloria?
Making the game that was the whole point of the class right?
How can you improve next year?
Maybe make my game more in depth more detailed.

I think that icivics is a realy awesome web site and you can get a lot of information from it.I played cast your vote and they were asking questions that I thought were really imporant (i.e. gas, durgs, taxes, health, and education). The tsunami in Japan

I think it stinks what happened to japan. People are sending money and food and are armed forces to help them. If I could help I would send food because what is money going to do? They don't have anything to spend it on. Food is what they need to survive. I would also send a plane to get them to california so they can go and be safe. The U.S.A already has over 308 million people what can another 127,000,000 do us we just need open jobs so that every one can work.
